Our Brisbane Bridal Studio is located in Taigum, Brisbane, and operates via appointment only.

Our Brisbane Bridal Studio is open on a Saturday, or other days on request.  Virtual Appointments are also available.

We have allowed a total of 1hr45min (105 minutes) on a Saturday to give you plenty of time to try on dresses, and discuss customisations if required.

We stock a wide range of popular brands including Tania Olsen Designs, Jadore Australia/Nicoletta, Tina Holly Couture, Ladivine (Cinderella Divine), Andrea & Leo, and more.  Other brands are also available on request.

The price of our gowns ranges from approx $200 through to $2000 depending on the brand.  Certain designers or specialised custom designs may be over $2000.  We also offer an additional 10%-50% OFF selected in-stock off-the-rack dresses that can be picked up immediately from our Brisbane Bridal Studio, or delivered to your door. 

After over 14 years working with bridal and formal wear, we have researched, trialled, and obtained the best and most reputable suppliers and manufacturers in the industry, many of whom supply and make dresses to some very well-known and expensive brands and bridal boutiques.  We also operate with minimal overheads, so we can pass those savings onto you.

Yes.  We understand that weddings are expensive so we can arrange a suitable payment plan for you over approx 2 months.  Just note that we cannot release the dress until full payment has been made.

Yes!  Book an Appointment to visit our Bridal Studio in Brisbane via the Contact Form below, or inbox us on Social Media.  Alternatively, you can buy our gowns online via a Virtual Appointment, and we will deliver them to your door.  Just check the measurements first for a more accurate fit, noting that we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges.

Yes, all of our gowns are brand new with tags (excluding any that are pre-loved and tagged as such).  Items that we order directly from the supplier or manufacturer have never been worn.  Items off-the-rack may have been tried on before by brides in our Studio, and to cater for this, we offer an additional 10%-50% OFF RRP for selected in-stock dresses.

The best way is to Book an Appointment to try on and buy our gowns from our Brisbane Bridal Studio.  Alternatively, you can have a Virtual Appointment and order that way.  Off-the-rack dresses require full payment before taking the dress, or before we deliver the dress.  Items that require ordering from the manufacturer require a low upfront deposit, with balance payable when the dress arrives at our Studio.

We aim to have all sizes available in stock for you to try on, from size 0-30.  However, as we have clients purchasing regularly, we may be sold out of your size, but don’t worry, as we can re-order your size again, and are regularly re-stocking.  Some of our dresses can be custom-made to specific sizes, so if you are between sizes, or don’t fit a standard size due to varying bust, waist and hip measurements, we can have these made in the correct size for you to minimise the requirement for alterations.  Note; even if a dress is made to a custom size, alterations are still to be expected.

Each manufacturer has their own measuring chart for you to check your measurements.  It is recommended that you have your measurements taken by a professional, or someone who knows the correct measuring points, to avoid error.  Please check these carefully, as some dresses may have slightly different measurements due to manufacturer specifications, and there can often be a seamline variation of somewhere between 1-4cm.  We also have the option for custom-sizing in some of our dress ranges if requested.  It is always recommended to try the dress on in the Studio for sizing, and to work with your alterations specialist to obtain the best fit.  It is much easier to alter down, rather than up.

In-stock dresses can be collected immediately by appointment, or we can arrange delivery to Australian addresses.  The timeframe to receive the dress will depend on your location and postal speed.  Otherwise, all special order and custom order dresses can take 2 weeks up to 4 months to arrive, depending on whether they are pre-made or custom-made.  It is recommended that you order your dress ASAP to avoid delays, and to ensure the dress fabrics and embellishments are still available.  We highly suggest ordering a minimum of 6-12 months in advance.

For in-stock items, the dress shown is the exact dress you will receive, in your actual size.  Note that we may have photographed a different size dress to the one you are purchasing, so there may be slight variations in fabric or lace placement.  We highly recommend that you Book an Appointment (in-person or virtual) if you wish to view the actual dress you intend to purchase.  For special or custom-orders, the dress will be made by the same manufacturer (where appropriate) and will be the exact same dress, unless discussed prior.  The only slight differences would be lace or pattern placement, colour or texture (if using a different fabric roll; minor variation can occur), size variance, or if custom changes have been made.

For standard size dresses, alterations may be required, particularly for the length, as they are often made to a standard length.  Dresses with zipper backs or sides may also require some alterations.  Dresses with lace-up backs often don’t require as many alterations as they can be more flexible around the bust, waist and hips.  Even with custom-size dresses, alterations may still be required, to tweak the dress to your final body shape.

No, we don’t offer alterations, sorry.  You will need to source your own alterations specialist near you, or we can provide you with some suggestions.  Alterations, if required, are an additional arrangement and cost between you and the alterations specialist.  Laneway Bridal take no responsibility for the alteration quality, or for the dress after alterations have been completed.  Note that returns, refunds or exchanges are not provided on dresses.

Yes!  We can take your measurements and design ideas, and our dressmakers can create your dream dress for you to try on in our Brisbane Studio for a low upfront deposit.  We suggest starting the process at least 8-12 months in advance (6 month minimum), however more time is always appreciated.

No.  All custom dresses are made as per the measurements and instructions provided at the time of ordering, and arrive as a fully completed dress that you can try on and either purchase, or we will keep it as a sample dress in the Studio.  If you choose to purchase the sample, any final tweaks will need to be made by your preferred alterations specialist.

Yes!!  It won’t be enough time to order a custom design, however we may have enough time to order a standard size from one of our ready-made suppliers.  Please let us know what you are looking for, and your budget, and we will see what we can do, if we don’t have something already in stock that is suitable.

We understand that you may feel anxious about ordering and paying a huge deposit upfront for a dress that you may not have seen or tried on before (perhaps because it doesn’t exist in the market yet, or it isn’t in your size or preferred colour).  We also understand that there are a variety of reasons that may affect your dress purchase (such as change of mind or circumstance), so we like to be flexible and adaptable where possible, with no obligation to purchase the dress prior to trying it on.  Due to this, we are currently offering to source or create your dream dress with a low upfront non-refundable deposit of 20%, fully redeemable on your dress if you decide to purchase it.  We want to ensure that you absolutely love your dress when you try it on, so we are pleased to have it available in your size for you to try on before you fully commit to the purchase.  If you don’t love it, you don’t buy it, and it goes on our rack for another bride to love.  If you do love it, you just pay the balance when you visit our Bridal Studio and try it on, or when you see photos/videos (if located outside of Brisbane).  Note that the deposit will not be refunded and is not transferrable if you decide not to go ahead with purchasing the dress, as it is used to partially cover the time and expense of procuring your dress, and is a re-stocking fee.  Also note that alterations may still be required, even if the dress is made to your measurements.  This is currently a limited offer, so please contact us ASAP if you wish to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
